Jim at all.
INTRODUCTION TO JIM COX
I am a photographer living in the City of
Some of my favourite
photography techniques include infrared, light painting, large format,
botanical manipulation and negative defenestration. Other techniques
include: running around in the full moon
with a flashlight, jumping into waterfalls (actually falling into waterfalls
but kept the camera above water), running after wildlife with a large format
camera, and groveling to get those special low angle shots. If you are not familiar with these
techniques, botanical manipulation requires moving blades of grass, leaves,
stones and sometimes trees out of the way of the perfect shot of a flower. The
negative defenestration is best looked up in your dictionary.
I tend to prefer nature shots and
experimental techniques but have enjoyed doing a few portraits and event
pictures. With my computer, I also work on restoring faded and damaged
photographs and have had much success with restoring heavily damaged
pictures. I have had less success
restoring heavily damaged cameras.
